Student Testimonials

"Lucien is a patient and thoughtful teacher with a tremendous amount of knowledge to impart. The 2 or 3-peron learning environment provides a terrific foundational introduction to wheel throwing, and the studio is a beautiful and well-equipped setting to learn in. This is a great opportunity for a lot of individual instruction and troubleshooting as you learn the joys and challenges of making pots on the wheel"!

A bit about my experience: I have been involved with ceramics since 1976. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (ECU) and a Master of Fine Arts degree (U. of IA), in Ceramics. I have taught clay at the university level (UNC-Charlotte), private high school (Northfield-Mount Herman) and public high school (Greenfield High School) level. I maintain my own studio and make work that has been, and continues to be, exhibited in national and international venues.
